Title I Workshop: How do I help my child succeed in Science & Social Studies?

Parents will be provided with strategies and resources to assist their students with Science and Social Studies at home. This workshop is designed to benefit parents with students who struggle.

The GCPS Title I Family and Community Engagement Plan is Gwinnett County’s plan for involving parents in the academic lives of their children.  It establishes the district’s expectations for family engagement and guides the strategies and resources that strengthen school and parent partnerships. 

GCPS Title I Parent Handbook

Provides contact information for Federal and Special Programs personnel, GCPS Title I schools, GCPS Family and Community Engagement Plan and  Annual Notices to Parents (FERPA, PPRA, Right to Know Teacher Qualifications, Complaint Procedures for Federal Programs, and Complaint form).

Parent Right to Know

Parents have the right to request information about the degree and certification of their child’s teacher(s) and paraprofessional(s), if applicable.  This document is provided to parents via the Title I Parent Handbook, and the GCPS Parent Handbook.
